Do I need a boating license or boater education card? Boater Education Requirement (Texas)

By proceeding, you acknowledge that operators born on or after September 1, 1993 must complete an approved Texas Boater Education Course to operate a personal watercraft (PWC) in Texas. Operators born before this date are not required to have certification.

A one-time 15-day Boater Education Deferral ($10) is available through Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) as an alternative.

How do I book a jet ski rental?

You can book online through our website at any time. Reservations are required – we do not accept walk-ins. Simply select your preferred rental duration (1 hour, 2 hours, half day, or full day), choose single or double rider, and complete your booking.

Where are you located?

We’re located at Seabrook Marina, 1900 Shipyard Dr, Dock E, Seabrook, TX 77586. We’re conveniently situated between Houston and Galveston, just down the road from the Kemah Boardwalk area.

What time do I need to arrive?

You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time. This allows time for check-in, safety briefings, and equipment preparation.

What’s included in my rental?

All rentals include a brand-new, well-maintained jet ski, all required safety gear (life vests), fuel for your rental duration (1-hour and 2-hour rentals include standard fuel; half-day and full-day rentals include one full tank with additional fuel available for purchase), and complete safety instructions.

How many people can ride on one jet ski?

Our jet skis accommodate single riders ($115) or double riders ($125). Please select the appropriate option when booking.

What should I bring?

Bring a valid driver’s license, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, towel, and consider a waterproof container for your belongings. Proper attire is required – you must wear shorts or another protective layer to help prevent skin irritation or injury caused by water pressure and contact with the seat.

Can I purchase accessories?

Yes! We offer phone protectors ($10), sunglasses holders ($5), and gloves ($10) that can be added to your reservation during checkout.

Can beginners rent jet skis?

Absolutely! Our jet skis are suitable for all experience levels. We provide safety instructions and operating guidance before every rental. The Kemah Channel offers calm waters perfect for getting comfortable before venturing into the open lake.

Is there a damage deposit?

Yes, a damage deposit is collected at check-in and will be outlined during the booking process.

What if I need to cancel?

Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the rental cost. Please review our full cancellation policy during checkout and contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify your reservation.

What can I see while riding?

You’ll cruise through the scenic Kemah Channel where you can spot dolphins, pelicans, and other coastal Texas wildlife. Once you reach Clear Lake, you’ll have wide-open waters perfect for high-speed riding and exploring Galveston Bay.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available at Seabrook Marina.

What are the age and weight restrictions?

Specific age and weight restrictions will be confirmed during booking. All riders must comply with Texas watercraft rental regulations.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our priority. We monitor weather conditions and will contact you if conditions are unsafe for riding. In case of cancellations due to weather, we’ll work with you to reschedule.
